Keyword search hint:
If you would like to search on both science or scientific,
enter the keyword as scien. The search will be conducted on any
string matching the root, i.e. scien, entered. Thus, all events for
science as well as scientific, will be displayed. Separate
keywords up to a maximun of 5, entered with a space between each keyword,
may be entered. All the events matching these keyword(s) will be shown.
The information will be sorted on the starting date of the event.
Date search:
Enter the date(s) in the format yyyymmdd. By entering a starting
date only, all the events taking place on that date will be shown. By
entering both a starting date and an ending date, the events taking place
during the entire period falling between the dates, and including the
dates entered, will be shown. The information will be sorted on the
starting date of the event.
Combination search:
If values are entered for both the keyword and date fields, only events
containing the relevant keyword(s) which will take place during the
selected period, will be displayed. The information will be sorted on the
starting date of the event.
Display all records:
All events on the calendar database will be displayed, irrespective of the
event name or date. This is the default if no fields on the form are
completed. If a search key or date is entered, only events containing the
search key, or falling on the spacific date, will be displayed. The
information will be sorted on the starting date of the event.
Language preference:
The calendar will be displayed in English by default. If you would like
the calendar to be displayed in Afrikaans, please select the Display
calendar in Afrikaans option. If you would like to change back from
the Afrikaans calendar to the English calendar, please select the
Display calendar in English option to redisplay the calendar in
English.
Clear form:
When you click on this button, the form will be
reset and you may enter new search criteria.
